Job summary

Reed is seeking an interim Practice Accountant for a small, friendly accountancy practice near Ferndown in the United Kingdom. The role is office-based with full-time hours, with an immediate start and a 3-month duration, with possible extension.

You will support the team with Personal Tax Returns, preparation of Company Accounts, and VAT Returns, liaising with clients and ensuring accurate, timely filings.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations.
• Familiarity with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.

Practice Accountant (Interim, Perm potential available or short term cover)

Office Based near Ferndown

Salary - £20.00 - £25.00 per hour (DOE)

Duration 3 months ongoing

- Support the team with Personal Tax Returns, Preparation of Company Accounts, VAT Returns

- Dealing and liaising with clients

Key Requirements:

• studying - Part Qualified /qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• Knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
• Proficient in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar software
• Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail skills.
