Job summary

TPF Recruitment is helping a Camberley-based accountancy practice to find a Practice Accountant. You will work on preparation of accounts and tax work for a varied portfolio, collaborating with senior team members.

The role covers accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and client communication in a friendly, supportive environment. It is suited to someone with practice experience and a proactive, detail-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in accountancy practice.
• Proficient with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and IRIS.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication with clients.
• Proactive and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and annual accounts from client records.
• Assist with draft corporation tax computations.
• Prepare year-end accounting files and schedules.
• Support reconciliations and control accounts including payroll and fixed assets.
• Work with various accounting software and cloud packages.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and request information.
