Job summary

Howett Thorpe is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to join our established accountancy firm on a temporary basis. You will join the practice team in an all‑round capacity, working across accounts and tax for a varied client base, preparing and reviewing assignments, dealing directly with clients and providing support across a range of accounting and tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Review accounts and working papers.
• Prepare and review personal and corporation tax returns.
• Deal with accounting and tax queries from clients.
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Manage a varied portfolio of client work.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Support the wider practice team where required.

Urgent requirement for an experienced Practice Accountant to join an established accountancy firm on a temporary basis. This is an all-round practice role covering accounts and tax, with responsibility for preparing and reviewing work, dealing with clients and supporting the wider team.

Practice Accountant – About The Role

You will join the practice team in an all-round capacity, working across accounts and tax for a varied client base. The role will involve preparing and reviewing assignments, dealing directly with clients and providing support across a range of accounting and tax matters.
