Job summary

Reaseheath College and University Centre in Cheshire invites applications for an Instructor – Agricultural Engineering. You will deliver practical training in workshops and field environments, helping students build the skills, knowledge and confidence for careers in agricultural engineering while maintaining equipment and promoting safe working practices.

The role is permanent and full-time. Applicants should have Level 3 education in a relevant subject, GCSEs with grade C in Maths and English,

Qualifications

• A Level 3 education in a relevant subject.
• GCSE Maths & English grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Experience within Agricultural Engineering or a closely related industry.
• Strong practical skills and technical knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Commitment to health and safety and maintaining high professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical Agricultural Engineering training to students in workshops and field-based environments.
• Assess and monitor learner progress, providing guidance to help them achieve goals.
• Maintain engineering equipment, tools and learning resources, ensuring safety and fitness for purpose.
• Promote and enforce health and safety standards in all practical activities.
• Support curriculum activities and collaborate with colleagues to provide an outstanding learning experience.
