Job summary

MKTG Sports & Entertainment is seeking an experienced Manager, Amplification (PR & Content) to join our Content & Creative team in London. You will lead day-to-day PR delivery, pitch stories and land coverage, and line up interviews with talent and spokespeople.

You will also drive content planning for campaigns with major brand partnerships in sport, extending reach through publishers and creators. You will collaborate with clients’ social teams and agencies, manage calendars and approvals, and

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on PR experience, ideally agency-side, in sport, entertainment or consumer brands.
• A track record of securing coverage and interviews.
• Experience with media databases (Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater) or similar.
• Experience identifying and working with creators.
• Strong writing instincts and ability to craft compelling content for social and publisher channels.

Responsibilities

• Write and land press releases, pitches and briefing materials across national and trade media.
• Line up and manage interviews for talent, ambassadors and spokespeople from briefing to on-the-day support.
• Spot reactive opportunities and support press activity at events and shoots.
• Build media lists and track coverage with tools like Muck Rack or similar.
• Contribute to content planning for client campaigns and amplification plans beyond owned channels.
