Looking for new energy
Established in 2003, Utilita is the UK's first—and still only—energy company created to help customers use less energy, by giving them better control via digital technology. We are pioneers in smart technology, empowering households to use and waste less energy, benefiting both customers' pockets and the planet.
Our ambitious plan aims for net zero operational emissions by 2030, and we have expanded into the commercial and domestic solar installation market to accelerate the UK's energy transition.
As a PR & Communications Executive, you will be part of our creative PR team, responsible for raising awareness of Utilita and projecting a positive brand image. Your tasks include working with the Media & Communications Manager, writing press releases, managing media relations, and delivering impactful communications.
You will collaborate with Energy Hub teams for PR activities related to our stores and maintain a news section for updates to customers and staff.
We seek a driven, creative individual with at least one year’s experience in communications, PR, journalism, or similar, with excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and good media landscape knowledge. Ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and a team-oriented mindset are essential. Knowledge of the retail energy sector is a plus.
Utilita serves over 800,000 UK homes, providing innovative energy solutions with a focus on sustainability and customer control. We aim for net zero by 2030 and are dedicated to making energy greener and smarter.
