Job summary

Live Nation UK is seeking a highly organised Communications Assistant, Touring and Festivals, to support PR campaigns from intimate shows to stadiums and music festivals. You will monitor press coverage, manage media lists, and assist on site at major events, while coordinating with the Creator Partnerships Manager on campaigns.

The role involves on-site work, travel across the UK, and working evenings/weekends during festival/touring seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience in PR or comms, particularly within entertainment, music, live events, or similar fields.
• Experience managing press lists, reporting on coverage, working on press releases and securing media coverage.
• Experience working with journalists, photographers and media.
• Highly organised with a meticulous eye for detail.
• A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department mailing lists, ensuring contacts remain up-to-date and developing targeted lists and segments.
• Manage department email inbox, routing requests to relevant stakeholders and teams.
• Send out press releases and localise third-party releases to LN UK template.
• Monitor media coverage and report on coverage for priority shows, optimising tools and processes and developing AI workflows to simplify reporting with the support of their manager.
• Work with the Creator Partnerships Manager to manage creator invites and ticketing, monitor and report on content creator campaigns.
• Pitching shows to key listings pages, festival guides and gift guides.
• Support the team on site at events, assisting with show accreditation, escorting media, managing photographers, press areas and ad hoc assistance.
• Support the team in planning and delivering large-scale media engagements including launches, trips, publicity stunts and gifting campaigns.
• Manage department subscriptions.
• Travel as required for events, press engagements, and meetings.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
