The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a Public Relations Account Manager to manage client relationships, craft compelling press materials and nurture media ties. You will plan campaigns, monitor coverage, and advise on timely responses in a fast-paced startup environment.

With hybrid working and a budget for learning and development, you’ll work directly with founders and senior clients. A strong writing background and media savvy are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• A few years' experience in a PR or communications role, agency or in-house.
• Sharp writing skills; turn client updates into journalist-friendly copy.
• Confidence managing multiple accounts and priorities.
• A working media contacts book or ability to build one quickly.
• Comfort presenting to clients directly.
• Interest in how PR and digital communications evolve and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of client accounts as day-to-day contact and adviser.
• Writing and pitching press releases, briefing documents and thought leadership pieces.
• Building and maintaining media relationships across trade, national and broadcast outlets.
• Planning PR campaigns from brief to delivery and reporting results against targets.
• Spotting reputational risks and advising on timely responses.
• Supporting new business pitches with research, messaging and decks.
