Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a PR Account Director to lead a portfolio of client accounts, owning strategy, delivery and measurable results. You will build senior client relationships and act as the trusted voice they call first.

You will develop and pitch campaigns that blend media relations, content and digital PR, while mentoring junior staff, spotting growth opportunities, and keeping budgets and timelines on track.

Qualifications

• Proven track record managing PR accounts at a senior level, agency or in-house.
• Strong media relationships and understanding of what makes a story land.
• Confident presenting to clients and defending strategy under pressure.
• Excellent copywriting and ability to produce high-quality content quickly.
• Experience developing and mentoring junior staff.
• Good understanding of margins, scope creep, and account growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of client accounts focusing on strategy, delivery and results.
• Build senior client relationships as the trusted voice.
• Develop and pitch campaign strategies combining media relations, content and digital PR.
• Mentor account executives and managers, reviewing work and raising standards.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and help win new business.
