Job Description:

Pitch is pleased to be working with a long-established full-service agency seeking a PR Account Manager to join their talented team. This team offers comprehensive marketing services, including big idea creation, web design, PR, and social media campaign planning.

The PR Account Manager will be responsible for building client and media relationships, delivering work on time, and managing a PR Account Executive. A typical day includes:

  • Prioritising multiple tight deadlines
  • Leading client meetings and ensuring thorough preparation
  • Being the main client contact, advising on strategies, and overseeing work delivery
  • Responding to client briefs and supporting PR activities with proposals
  • Building relationships with clients and journalists
  • Managing an Account Executive, setting priorities, and providing support
  • Delivering presentations, writing proposals, and supporting new business opportunities
  • Responding quickly to media inquiries

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience as a PR Account Manager, preferably in housebuilding
  • Ability to adapt style/tone for different audiences
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Understanding of client budgets and cost management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with crisis communications is a plus
