Job Description:

Pitch is pleased to be working with a long-established full-service agency that is looking for a PR Account Manager to join their talented team of professionals. This team provides all necessary services for marketing campaigns, including big idea creation, web design, and effective PR and social media campaign planning.

As the PR Account Manager, your responsibilities will include building client and media relationships, delivering work on time, and managing a PR Account Executive. A typical day involves:

  1. Prioritising multiple tight deadlines effectively.
  2. Leading client meetings with thorough preparation.
  3. Being the main client contact, advising on strategies, and ensuring timely delivery of work.
  4. Responding to client briefs and supporting broader client objectives with PR proposals.
  5. Maintaining relationships with clients and journalists.
  6. Managing an Account Executive, setting work priorities, and providing support.
  7. Delivering presentations, writing proposals, and contributing to new business opportunities.
  8. Responding promptly to media inquiries under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience as a PR Account Manager, preferably in the housebuilding sector.
  • Ability to adapt style and tone to engage different audiences effectively.
  • Strong proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of client budgets and ability to manage costs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with crisis communications is a plus.
