Arla Foods Stourton Dairy seeks a PPM Technician to maximise asset reliability through proactive inspections, planned maintenance, and effective problem solving. You will work with operations and engineering to improve production efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities include using SAP PM/CMMS, updating maintenance plans, and supporting CAPEX input while upholding food quality and safety standards. Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts, with development opportunities available.

As a PPM Technician at Arla Foods Stourton this role is based in our cremery, you will play a vital role in maximising asset reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Through proactive inspections, preventative maintenance, and effective problem‑solving, you will help improve equipment performance and operational efficiency.
Working closely with operations and engineering teams, you will drive continuous improvement, develop and optimise maintenance plans, and share your expertise to enhance team capability. Your contribution will directly support product quality, production targets, and a safe, reliable manufacturing environment.
This role sits within our Engineering team at Stourton Dairy and will be Monday-Thursday, 10 hour days based shifts
You’ll bring experience from FMCG, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments, along with a time‑served or apprentice‑trained engineering background at NVQ Level 3/ONC, HNC or above. Strong problem‑solving skills are essential, particularly when it comes to RCA and fault‑finding, and you’ll be confident using systems such as SAP PM or similar CMMS tools, as well as Microsoft Office. Thriving in this role also means being able to work at pace, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively across teams.
