Job summary

Hall & Kay Fire Engineering is seeking a proactive coordinator to schedule and coordinate sprinkler and fire pump remedial works, ranging from small tasks to larger projects. You will raise remedial jobs, manage suppliers, subcontractors, and in-house engineers, and oversee ordering parts and RAMS.

You will liaise with clients to schedule works, organise paperwork for invoicing, and maintain logs. The role offers 36.5 hours per week, a contributory pension, healthcare, and generous holiday

• Experience in Fire & Security sector or similar role (essential).
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills (essential).
• Experience with Corrigo (desirable).
• Excellent communication skills (essential).
• Confident telephone manner and customer service-oriented (essential).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy growing workplace (essential).

Responsibilities

• Raise remedial jobs and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and in-house engineers.
• Raise purchase orders, order parts, hire plant and instruct subcontractors.
• Organise paperwork from engineers to ensure invoicing runs smoothly.
• Liaise with clients to schedule works and deliveries of materials and plant.
• Issue RAMS and maintain inspection/delivery logs.
• Keep track of quotes, work logs and engineers diaries.

Summary of Role

Working as part of a small, growing team to schedule and coordinate sprinkler & fire pump remedial works, varying from small jobs to some larger projects.

What you will be doing

• Raising remedial jobs
• Coordinating with multiple suppliers, subcontractors and in house engineers
• Raising PO's/Ordering parts, hiring plant and instructing subcontractors
• Organising paperwork from engineers & subcontractors to ensure smooth processing of invoicing
• Liaising with clients to schedule works, schedule deliveries of materials and plant
• Issuing RAMS
• Keeping track of quote logs, work log tracker & engineers diaries

What we will need from you

• Experience within the Fire & Security sector performing a similar role (essential)
• Good understanding of Microsoft excel and MS office packages (essential)
• Experience of Corrigo (desirable)
• Strong communication skills (essential)
• Confident telephone manner with exemplary customer service aptitude (essential)
• Eager to work in a fast paced, busy, growing workplace (essential).
