Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking a PPM Engineer to carry out planned maintenance and compliance checks across commercial sites. The role covers HVAC, water hygiene, emergency lighting and general M&E PPMs, with responsibilities spanning from routine maintenance to reporting remedial works.

You will liaise with site contacts and ensure PPM records are completed accurately. The position offers a full-time permanent contract, a company van and fuel card, along with overtime opportunities and

Qualifications

• Previous FM, PPM or building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and general building services.
• Water hygiene / Legionella knowledge beneficial.
• General M&E knowledge.
• Emergency lighting experience beneficial.
• Good all-round practical maintenance skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Complete emergency lighting checks and testing.
• Carry out basic HVAC PPMs and filter cleans.
• Complete water temperatures, flushing and water hygiene checks.
• Carry out Legionella-related compliance tasks.
• Complete general mechanical and electrical checks.
• Carry out minor fabric maintenance where required.
• Identify and report remedial works.
• Complete PPM records and job sheets.
• Liaise with customers and site contacts.

Location: Manchester / Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £30,000–£35,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a PPM Engineer to carry out planned maintenance and compliance checks across commercial sites.
