Job description

Adfabric is an independent, founder-led media planning and buying agency in London, and one of 20 UK agencies awarded IPA Beacon Agency status in 2026 — recognised as part of the next generation of agencies that are redefining what growth, innovation and relevance look like in a rapidly changing market. It's already paying off: a Drum Gold for paid search, and a UK Paid Media Awards win where search played a starring role — both beating agencies many times our size.

We believe that most brands are growing slower than they should — not because the opportunity isn't there, but because the thinking behind their media isn't finding it. Modern media craft, led by top-tier talent, is what changes that. It rests on three foundations: super smart, T-shaped talent who zoom into channel detail and zoom out to strategy with no translation loss; a one-team approach that embeds with clients rather than sitting at arm's length; and a future-built attitude that challenges “best practice” and pairs marketing science with what's now possible in tech and paid media.

Our clients span banking, entertainment, FMCG, telecoms and ecommerce — deliberately broad, because that's more interesting. Every one is a challenger in its category, with budgets ranging from £150k to £3m+ annually. As a 100% founder-owned agency, we move with the speed and agility to deliver without compromise.

Our Team

You'd be joining a high-trust team of smart thinkers, all pulling in the same direction: modern media craft and market-leading thinking, obsessed with delivering outstanding work for our clients that really lifts the bar.

We're 100% female-owned and -led — one of just 16% of UK agencies that are. We don't think that's what makes us different, but our founding values back collaboration over hierarchy, flexibility, and a genuine drive to do right by the brands we work with. That's what gives you room to think, experiment, and back your own ideas here — not just execute someone else's.

We're a lean, but growing team, building something we believe is what the media agency of the future looks like. That means fewer layers and less ready-made process than you'd find at a bigger agency. It also means we're building some of our own tools — rather than just buying what everyone else uses. If the idea of building your own tools and agents, not just using someone else's, gets you excited, this could be exactly the job for you.

That won't suit everyone, and that's fine. If you want a fully built machine to plug into, this isn't the role for you. If you want real ownership, real autonomy and want to be part of building a successful next generation agency — you're exactly who we're looking for.

The Role

We're looking for a PPC Manager to join our growing team — first and foremost, a high-performing paid search specialist. Google Ads is where you'll spend day one, with real autonomy over your own accounts and support from our PPC Lead on strategy and direction.

We're building our own tools and systems with AI, and we want people who don't just use what we build — they help build it. If that kind of contribution excites you, this is the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, activation and optimisation of paid search campaigns — Google Ads first, with OpenAI Ads and other emerging platforms as they develop.
  • Own your accounts end to end, with the autonomy to make the calls — supported by, not dependent on, our PPC Lead.
  • Partner with the team to help build and refine the AI-driven tools we use to manage and report on PPC accounts.
  • Stay ahead of paid search trends, testing new tools and approaches early.
  • Analyse complex data sets and turn them into optimisation decisions and insight clients can act on.
  • Manage campaign budgets and own the commercial results on your accounts.
  • Build out into paid social over time — this role is search-first by design, with room to grow into a broader cross-channel remit.
  • Keep your channels aligned with the wider media mix across each account.
  • Foster a test-and-learn approach, and keep pushing your own professional development.
How We'll Measure Success
  • Your accounts are performing, and the calls you're making on them are the right ones — trusted enough that our PPC Lead doesn't need to check your work.
  • You're actively shaping the AI tools and systems we build — not just using what's handed to you.
  • You're ahead of paid search, not behind it — testing new features and formats before most competitors have heard of them.
  • Your reporting gives the team real, actionable direction — not just numbers.
  • Clients trust you directly, and tell us so.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years' agency experience planning and activating paid search campaigns, with deep hands-on expertise in Google Ads.
  • A genuine interest in newer platforms like OpenAI Ads, and in where paid search is heading next.
  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence in Excel, Data Studio and GA4/GTM-level reporting.
  • A track record of turning analysis into measurable performance improvements, with the curiosity to question existing approaches and the initiative to act without waiting for direction.
  • A track record of managing budgets and owning commercial results.
  • Comfortable working with real autonomy — you don't need everything signed off before you move.
  • A genuine interest in AI and automation, and a want to help build the tools you use, not just use them.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-driven and solutions-focused.
What We Offer
  • Hybrid working — 1–2 days/week in our Soho office
  • Private healthcare and pension*
  • CPD support as an IPA Accelerator agency, with real exposure across agency disciplines
  • Dedicated training & resources to upskill in the use of AI
  • A central London office and a genuinely diverse client roster

*Subject to terms and conditions.
