You will support the PPC Manager in the planning, implementation and optimisation of all paid search campaigns, running your own accounts and taking responsibility for their strategies, implementation and results.

The role is based in the Search team, which looks after SEO and PPC, and sits within a fully integrated agency, meaning you’ll also be working with paid media teams across social and programmatic to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to our clients. This offers plenty of opportunities to collaborate and learn outside of the world of paid search.

Reporting to the PPC Manager, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ year’s paid search (PPC) experience, great communication skills, as well as a willingness to learn and progress within our growing business.

Business Responsibilities:
  • Building, managing and optimising PPC strategies across a range of clients, working with a clear and defined set of KPIs
  • Manage day-to-day PPC activity and overseeing the performance of your accounts - campaign set up, bid strategies, ad copy and daily optimisations
  • Manage the platform’s daily budgets, billing reconciliation and spend pacing in adherence to allocations and desired return (CPA/ CPL/ROAS)
  • Campaign reporting, including written commentary and insights for clients, as well as client meeting presentations and data analysis
  • Supporting the wider team with planning, reporting, research and implementation
  • Confident in client facing account management, including calls, meetings and emails
  • Provide insights and suggestions to further enhance campaigns, e.g. ad copy, creative, targeting, keywords, structure, bid strategies etc.
  • Conducting keyword research and insights to ascertain what users who are in-market are searching for, specific to the client’s industry
  • Stay updated with the latest PPC trends and Google/Microsoft Ads features
  • Maintain high awareness of the industry offerings and actively testing new initiatives
  • Managing the client’s expectations and keeping clients and internal teams up to date at each stage of the campaign
People Responsibilities:
  • To work integrated across the agency teams where required
  • Share the great work you do with the rest of the team and wider agency
  • Comply with the PDP process and continued growth of team members with clear feedback and supporting their training and upskilling where required
Skills & Experience:
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in a similar PPC role, with experience managing paid search campaigns independently
  • Experience across Google & Microsoft Ads
  • Google Ads certification preferable
  • Proficient in Google Analytics
  • Understanding of scripts/tags and Google Tag Manager would be beneficial
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and progress within a fast-paced marketing agency
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to leverage data, analytics and consumer behaviour trends in order to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Understanding of wider digital marketing and the impact this has on paid media strategies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both with clients and internally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/ Google (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
Benefits:
  • Generous salary
  • Hybrid working
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service
