Job summary

MDPI, headquartered in Switzerland, is hiring a PPC - Digital Marketing Specialist for our Manchester office. You will manage paid social and digital campaigns across key brands, supporting always-on and major campaigns, and reporting on performance.

We seek a candidate with a marketing or communications background, native English, and solid knowledge of social platforms and marketing tools. This in-office role is based in Manchester city centre.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or related subject.
• Experience coordinating paid social media or paid digital marketing activities for business.
• Native-level English proficiency.
• Intermediate knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Strong knowledge of Social Media Ad Managers.
• Experience using social media and digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Falcon and Sprout OR Google Suite (GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, etc.), as well as data visualization tools.
• A core understanding of brand, communication, and digital marketing principles.
• Demonstrable organisational skills and prioritisation capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in our Manchester city centre office, which is located next to Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related subject (required).
• Experience coordinating paid social media or paid digital marketing activities for business.
• Native-level English proficiency (proficiency in other languages is a plus).
• Intermediate knowledge of key social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram (experience with other channels is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Social Media Ad Managers (Google Ad Manager is a plus).
• Experience using social media and digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Falcon and Sprout OR Google Suite (GA4, Tag Manager, Search Consol, etc.), as well as data visualisation tools.
• A core understanding of brand, communication, and digital marketing principles.
• Demonstrable organisational skills and prioritisation capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills.
