About the Role:
A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join their teaching team from September 2025.
This part-time position offers the opportunity to teach across various year groups, providing high-quality cover during teacher planning, preparation, and assessment time.
This is an ideal role for a confident teacher who enjoys variety, is flexible in their approach, and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 (depending on experience and school needs).
Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and learning needs.
Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience teaching across multiple primary key stages is desirable.
Ability to build rapport with pupils and maintain a positive classroom climate.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A proactive and flexible attitude to teaching and school life.
