Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience in a primary school setting is desirable, but ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
  • Strong organisational skills and the confidence to teach in a variety of year groups.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2 to cover teachers during Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.
  • Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups and curriculum areas.
  • Ensure continuity of learning by following the class teacher's planning and providing effective feedback.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and challenged.
  • Uphold the school's behaviour policy and safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Work closely with year group teams to contribute to the wider life of the school when needed.

PPA TEACHER CAMDEN Short-term/ Temporary £160 - £190 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded, supportive primary school in Camden, London, to recruit an engaging and flexible PPA Cover Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner or a newly qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) to join a school where teamwork, professional development and pupil progress are at the heart of everything they do.
