In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and enhancing this client’s portfolio of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and renewable products. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the profitable operation and delivery of these contracts, contributing to delivering stable margins and meeting our renewable obligations.

This is your chance to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, drive innovation, and improve processes in a competitive and evolving market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage power purchase agreements (PPAs), ensuring all contractual obligations are met efficiently and profitably.
  2. Support large tender negotiations, analyze and enhance contract terms, and develop new models and IT solutions to streamline operations.
  3. Collaborate with the PPA Settlement & Origination teams, Finance, and Wholesale Market Services to launch new PPA products and identify process improvements.
  4. Guide and train team members as a PPA expert, working closely with internal teams (Pricing, Finance, Legal, and Regulation) and external stakeholders to ensure successful contract delivery and compliance.
  5. Drive innovation, optimize business processes, and assist in setting team objectives to achieve strategic goals.

Your Profile:

  1. Detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong numerical skills.
  2. Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and SQL is advantageous but not essential.
  3. Solid understanding of contractual terms and conditions, with the ability to translate them into operational requirements.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of working effectively across teams and influencing positive change.
  5. Thrives in a dynamic environment, highly organized, with strong multitasking and time management skills.
  6. Passionate about renewable energy and committed to driving efficiencies and improvements.
  7. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, dedicated to creating positive customer and employee experiences.
  8. Knowledge of the PPA market and industry settlement codes, and a commitment to health, safety, and sustainability, are desirable.
