Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to define, develop, and deliver assembly manufacturing processes across launches and ramp-up. You will translate product designs into robust, scalable, safe processes, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production and Facilities to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.

You will lead process development, tooling/specification, DfM improvements, and Lean deployment, while supporting safety and traceability

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Experience supporting new product introductions and production launches.
• Experience specifying manufacturing equipment, tooling, or automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop manufacturing processes, production flows, and assembly methodologies.
• Create and optimise line layouts, takt-time models, staffing plans, and scalability strategies.
• Drive Design for Manufacture (DfM) improvements with Engineering teams.
