Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking an Electrical Systems and Simulation Engineer to join the Electronics Design Team. You will develop ERS electronics requirements, interfaces and architecture while tackling complex system-level challenges.

You'll model and simulate battery, electronics and electric machine systems, review data to investigate faults, and generate reports on performance projects. The role blends advanced engineering with hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

Must have a degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Advanced knowledge of modelling and simulation tools for electronics design, batteries and motors (MATLAB/Simulink).
Proven track record of fault investigation, containment and rectification.

Responsibilities

Create and manage ERS electronics requirements, interfaces and architecture documents.
Investigate complex system-level issues involving multiple components.
Propose performance projects and evaluate the system-level performance impact of project proposals.
Review and analyse data to investigate faults or evaluate the impact of performance projects.
Develop and manage ERS electrical simulation models, including battery, electronics and electric machine.
Generate reports and present results.
