Qualifications
- A degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced knowledge of modelling and simulation tools for electronics design, batteries and motors (ideally including MATLAB/Simulink).
- Proven track record of successful fault investigation, containment, and rectification.
- Able to mentor Junior Electronics Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage ERS electronics requirements, interfaces and architecture documents
- Investigate complex system-level issues involving multiple components
- Propose performance projects and evaluate the system-level performance impact of project proposals
- Review and analyse data to investigate faults or evaluate the impact of performance projects
- Develop and manage ERS electrical simulation models, including battery, electronics and electric machine
- Generate reports and present results
