Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in the United Kingdom is seeking a testing specialist for GE PowerOn Reliance PoR SCADA across SCADA and EMS modules. You will validate functionality, coordinate with customers and partners, and ensure end-to-end deployment quality in an agile environment.

The role requires hands-on testing across multiple environments, strong stakeholder communication, and experience with test management tools like JIRA.

Qualifications

• Extensive testing of GE PowerOn Reliance PoR SCADA and EMS modules.
• Experience with test plans, cases, acceptance tests and defect tracking.
• Hands-on with web, desktop and mobile testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users and project teams to capture scope and requirements.
• Provide expert testing services for PoR SCADA EMS systems across functional and non-functional areas.
• Design test scenarios and execute detailed test cases for full coverage.
• Review functional design documents to ensure test cases align with requirements.
• Work in Agile Scrum teams with POs, SMEs, and business testers to craft user stories and acceptance tests.
• Track progress using JIRA XRAY and maintain testing process adherence.
• Identify risks and issues in testing and propose mitigations.
• Follow centralized Test Strategy, Test Approach and Phase Test Plans.
• Develop, execute and maintain manual and automated test scripts.
• Perform tests across web, desktop and mobile platforms.
• Document defects with clear traces and reproducible steps.
