Job summary

AFI-Rentals is seeking a Powered Access Trainee to join our team in the UK. You will receive full training to carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on MEWPs, trucks and tracked machines, and learn to operate our truck mounts.

This role offers a clear progression to a Truck Mount Operator with HGV Class 2 training, a competitive salary, and ongoing development as you gain hands-on experience across customer sites and branch teams.

• Confident and friendly communicator with great customer service skills.
• Mechanically minded with attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence (required).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on MEWPs, trucks, and tracked access machines.
• Operating truck-mounted platforms at customer sites (full IPAF training provided).
• Supporting the engineering and operations teams across the branch.
• Learning all aspects of powered access operation and transport.
• Working toward your HGV Class 2 licence and future operator position.
