Job description

Job Title: Mobile Powered Access Engineer

Salary/Rate: £40,000 - £45,000 per year + Van and Fuel Card

Benefits: 33 days annual leave, Pension, excellent overtime rates, performance bonus

Are you an experienced engineer looking to advance your career? We are seeking a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our client's team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves travel to customer sites to handle equipment breakdown repairs, document customer-related damage, and manage warranty matters as needed.

You will be provided with a modern company van, workwear, PPE, and all necessary tools.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Comprehensive Equipment Maintenance: Conduct PDIs, routine servicing, LOLER inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal fleet performance.
2. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all servicing and maintenance comply with manufacturer specifications, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
3. Repair & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems efficiently.
4. Record Management: Maintain accurate records of all services, inspections, and repairs.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team and office staff to maximize machine availability and customer satisfaction.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience in the powered access sector is essential. Industry-specific qualifications such as CAP and IPAF are preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Commitment to Excellence: A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
