Powered Access Engineer - Derby // up to £42,000 + profit share

Are you an experienced Powered Access Engineer having worked on a variety of Powered Access Machinery?

Platinum Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Powered Access Engineer to join a Plant Hire company near Derby offering an attractive salary and benefits package.

If you're an experienced Service Engineer, this is your chance to grow in a dynamic and rewarding role where you can gain further training and qualifications such as your CAP license.

Role Overview:

As a Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for fixing, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment including MEWPs, Boom Lifts and Scissors. The role will require you to adhere to IPAF and CAP guidelines, using your engineering expertise to ensure the machinery is operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service Engineer tasks including repair, service, and maintenance of Powered Access machinery
2. Work with other engineers to ensure that service schedules are maintained
3. Provide high-quality engineering workmanship and ensure all machinery is operating to the highest standards
4. Ensure that all IPAF and Health & Safety guidelines are promoted
5. Maintain the workshop cleanliness, keeping a tidy and safe work space

Salary and Benefits:

1. Competitive salary ranging from £37,000 - £42,000 per annum
2. Quarterly profit share bonus scheme
3. Overtime paid at 1.5 rate

Requirements:

1. Extensive mechanical engineering experience in the repair and maintenance of Powered Access machinery is essential
2. A CAP License is desired but not essential
3. Ability to work independently and as part of the workshop team
4. NVQ or City Guilds in a form of engineering are preferred but we're always open to speaking with time served engineers too!
