Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in the United Kingdom seeks a Power System Engineer to contribute across tendering, design, procurement and commissioning for land-based grid, offshore marine and defence projects.

You will work as part of a class-leading Power Systems team applying advanced tools to deliver safe, efficient, and performance-led solutions. The role involves studies, hardware specification, testing support, and collaboration with third-party equipment suppliers as well as in-service support.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of power systems and power conversion
• Experience with naval or offshore/marine applications is desirable
• Ability to undertake supporting analysis and author reports

Responsibilities

• Undertake studies and analysis using power systems simulation tools
• Support design and delivery of projects from concept to commissioning
• Influence system and equipment design through to testing and validation
• Prepare technical documents, reports and project deliverables
• Support factory acceptance tests and customer meetings
• Assist in validation and de-risking at test facilities in the UK
