Qualifications

• Candidates studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or STEM subjects.
• Available for a placement year commencing Summer 2027.
• Role is 100% onsite-based.

Responsibilities

• Interpret test requests for Euro VI and Stage V diesel engine testing; write test instructions and prepare test scripts and logs.
• Manage prototype equipment inventories at on- and offsite storage facilities.
• Ensure engine, aftertreatment and hardware is available and set up for each test; oversee test cell operation and assist test cell operator and facilities team.
• Investigate test data for quality and identify issues with equipment or software.
• Troubleshoot test cell issues including hardware, test sequence and scripting; provide short- and long-term solutions.
• This hands-on role offers practical testing experience with formal and informal training.
