Kevin Edward Associates is recruiting a Sales Manager for a Midlands-based generator rental business. You will develop and grow hire revenue across the Midlands, managing a defined territory and building long-term relationships with site managers, facilities teams and procurement professionals.

Promote generator rental and temporary power solutions, prepare quotations and proposals, and coordinate with operations to ensure smooth delivery and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in generator rental sales is essential.
• Strong understanding of temporary power solutions and hire processes.
• Excellent commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
• Confident engaging with site managers, facilities teams, contractors, consultants, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell generator rental and temporary power solutions to new and existing customers.
• Manage and grow a defined Midlands territory.
• Identify new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, construction, events, and public-sector clients.
• Conduct site visits to assess power requirements and recommend suitable rental solutions.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships through consultative technical sales.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tailored hire packages.
• Work closely with operations, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery and high service levels.
