Job summary

Pearson Carter Limited is seeking a hands-on Power Platform & VisualFiles Developer for a UK law firm in East Anglia. You will own business systems, automation and technical solutions across Power Platform, VisualFiles, .NET, SQL and APIs, delivering stakeholder-focused solutions and providing ongoing technical support.

The role offers hybrid working, a salary up to £60,000, and the chance to work on strategically important technology projects within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience integrating systems using REST APIs and Dataverse.
• .NET, C# or similar object-oriented development.
• Understanding of SDLC, version control and testing practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to take ownership of workloads and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Experience with VisualFiles workflows, scripting, and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI solutions.
• Design and support VisualFiles workflows, templates, scripts and data structures.
• Automate legal and business processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Build integrations between VisualFiles, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 and third-party systems.
• Develop and support .NET applications and extensions.
• Troubleshoot issues across Power Platform, VisualFiles, .NET, databases and integrations.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business‑focused solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure solutions are thoroughly tested.
