Job summary

Pearson Carter are supporting a regional law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. They are seeking a .NET and Power Platform Developer to build and automate core systems, across Power Platform, VisualFiles, .NET and external integrations.

You will work with internal IT and business stakeholders, taking ownership of technical projects and helping shape technology use across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and supporting business-critical applications.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with VisualFiles or similar workflow-based systems.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data structures understanding.
• Experience building integrations via REST APIs or Dataverse.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Administer and develop VisualFiles workflows, forms and data templates.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal apps, Microsoft 365 and external services.
• Provide development support for .NET-based applications and business systems.
• Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Plan testing, deployment and release activities with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead or contribute to upgrades and wider technology projects.
• Adhere to security and quality development standards.
