Job summary

MCS Group is seeking a hands-on Power Platform & Fabric Developer to advance our data, analytics and automation capabilities. The role is delivery-focused; you will own development tasks and implement practical solutions for business users.

The position is on-site in Belfast, with typical hours 8:00–16:30 and some flexibility around start/finish times. You will develop across Power Platform and Fabric, build Power BI reports, semantic models and dashboards, and create Power Apps/Dataverse

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.
• Power BI, including DAX and data modelling.
• Power Apps and Dataverse.
• Power Automate experience.
• Good understanding of data analytics and BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and Fabric.

MCS Group is looking for a hands-on Power Platform & Microsoft Fabric Developer to join a team investing in its data, analytics and automation capabilities. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of development work and build practical solutions for business users.

Please note: this role is on-site, 8:00am-4:30pm, with some flexibility around start and finish times.

The Role

• Develop solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and Fabric
• Build Power BI reports, semantic models and dashboards
• Develop Power Apps and Dataverse solutions
• Create workflows and automation using Power Automate
• Work across the Microsoft ecosystem to build applications, automate processes and develop analytics solutions
• Build and manage Fabric components including Lakehouse, Warehouse and data pipelines
• Support Copilot Studio / AI solutions
• Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into effective technical solutions

The Person

• 3 - 5 years hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience
• Power BI, including DAX and data modelling
• Power Apps and Dataverse
• Power Automate
• Good understanding of data analytics and business intelligence
• Experience with Copilot Studio, Entra ID, ALM and Power Platform governance would be advantageous
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable but not essential

Rate per hour: Flexible depending on experience
Duration: 12 months
