Job summary

Scottish Power Transmissions is recruiting a Power Platform Developer for Cambuslang on a contract basis to digitalise core business processes with Power Platform, automation and data solutions.

The role focuses on building Power Apps, automations, AI-enabled features and integrating with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure, while ensuring quality, security and performance standards. Initial contract basis with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building Power Apps.
• Experience integrating AI into existing business processes.
• Ability to design, develop and deploy Power Platform solutions across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure.
• Experience with solution lifecycle management, deployment pipelines and version control.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Develop automated workflows and system integrations using APIs and connectors.
• Build, test, validate and deploy applications and automations with quality and security standards.
• Create AI-enabled solutions using Copilot Studio and AI Builder.
• Manage lifecycle activities including deployment pipelines and version control.
• Support live solutions, monitor performance and deliver enhancements.
• Produce technical documentation and provide user support across teams.
• Run reports and handle KPI reporting and project tracking.
