Job summary

Scottish Power Transmissions is recruiting a Power Platform Developer to join the team in Cambuslang on a contract basis. The role focuses on building Power Apps, automations and data solutions, with an emphasis on integrating AI within existing business processes.

You will support the Project Design and Engineering team to digitise core processes, deliver automation, reporting and data solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure to ensure secure,

Qualifications

• Experience building Power Platform apps and automations.
• Ability to design data models and reporting within the Power Platform.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into business processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Power Platform solutions to meet business requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into effective technical solutions.
• Develop automated workflows and system integrations across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure and third‑party applications using APIs and connectors.
• Build, test, validate and deploy applications and automations, ensuring quality, security and performance standards are met.
• Create and maintain AI-enabled solutions using Copilot Studio, AI Builder and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Manage application lifecycle activities, including solution management, version control, deployment pipelines and continuous improvement.
• Support and maintain live solutions, troubleshooting issues, monitoring performance and delivering enhancements where required.

Job Purpose Statement

Support the Project Design and Engineering team in digitising core business processes through the development of Power Platform applications, automation, reporting and data solutions.
