Job summary

VIQU IT Recruitment is partnering with an NHS organisation to hire a Power Platform Analyst specializing in Dataverse and reporting. The role focuses on native Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse reporting, with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric for advanced analytics to deliver a scalable, governed reporting capability across the platform.

The candidate will design and optimise reports, maintain security-aware operations, and determine when to route reporting through Power BI for deeper insights.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a Power Platform Analyst with Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse reporting expertise.
• Experience developing native operational reporting using Dataverse views, filters and reporting components.
• Experience working with FetchXML and Dataverse data structures.
• Proven understanding of operational reporting requirements within application environments.
• Ability to differentiate between reporting requirements that should remain within Model-Driven Apps and those better suited to Power BI.
• Strong Power BI experience, including data modelling, DAX and report optimisation.
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Embedded, Dataverse and wider Power Platform technologies.

Power Platform Analyst (Dataverse & Reporting) - Contract - Remote / Cardiff

VIQU have partnered with an NHS organisation seeking a Power Platform Analyst to support the delivery of reporting solutions across a digital platform built on Microsoft Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps.

The successful Power Platform Analyst will focus primarily on native Model-Driven App and Dataverse reporting, including operational, validation and workflow-supporting reporting within the application itself. Alongside this, you will utilise Power BI and Microsoft Fabric where reporting requirements justify a more advanced analytical approach, helping to deliver a scalable and governed reporting capability across the platform.
