Astute Peoples Power Team is recruiting a Systems Engineer for a Gas Fired Power Station in Essex. The role focuses on strengthening system security and resilience to support long-term plant performance.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and manage cyber security compliance across Control and Information Systems, including incident response, risk management, and change control, working with the Cyber Security Manager.

Qualificações

• HNC in a C&I or Electrical/Electronic Eng discipline with relevant experience.
• HSE knowledge essential; NEBOSH or IOSH beneficial.
• Practical knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 standards is highly beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze system risks and mitigate cyber threats.
• Maintain and update cyber security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and testing for vulnerabilities.
• Support incident response and investigations with the Cyber Security Manager.
• Coordinate Management of Change activities and RCA investigations.
