Astute People is seeking a Systems Engineer for a Gas Fired Power Station in Essex. You will strengthen system security and resilience across Control and Information Systems, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

The role covers policy development, risk management, incident response support, and collaboration with Cyber Security Manager to uphold regulatory standards and plant integrity.

Qualificações

• Minimum three years' process industry experience, preferably two in power generation with supervisory exposure.
• Experience with OT security solutions and regulatory frameworks (NIS Directive / NCSC CAF).
• Knowledge of process control, instrumentation and HV electrical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Manage risk through lifecycle analysis of systems and mitigate cyber threats.
• Maintain and update system cyber security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and testing to identify vulnerabilities and improvements.
• Support incident response and investigations with Cyber Security Manager.
• Coordinate Management of Change activities and engineering risk assessments.

HNC in C&I / Electrical or Electronic Engineering

NEBOSH or IOSH (beneficial)
