Job summary

OCU Group is seeking a Project Manager to own regulated power projects from inception to delivery across UK transmission and distribution networks. You’ll ensure safe, efficient, and commercially successful outcomes, leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating design, engineering, commercial and operations functions.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related field, strong project management experience in power/energy, and knowledge of UK health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Proven project management experience in power, utilities, energy, infrastructure or construction.
• Strong understanding of regulated electricity networks (transmission and distribution) and HV/EHV infrastructure.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience administering NEC contracts or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of regulated power projects across transmission and distribution networks.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design, engineering, commercial and operations.
• Ensure projects meet health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project performance, risks, issues and opportunities throughout lifecycle.
• Oversee procurement activities, subcontractor performance and contract administration.
• Manage project reporting, governance and compliance.
