EP UK Investments Ltd invites graduates to join the Power Station Operations Graduate programme at Kilroot and Ballylumford Power Stations in Northern Ireland. You will gain hands-on experience across large generating assets, combining operational work with formal training and mentoring to build a foundation for a long-term power generation career.

Reporting to an Operations Engineer, you will work with experienced teams, develop technical expertise, and progress toward Authorised Person status

Formación

• A minimum 2:1 BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering (or expected).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Interest in energy markets and commercial/operational aspects of electricity generation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop an understanding of power station operations, electricity generation processes and plant performance.
• Safely operate generating plant in accordance with procedures and instructions.
• Monitor and support operation from the control room during start-up, load changes and shutdowns.
• Analyse plant operating data and support investigations into performance.
• Carry out routine plant inspections and report defects or abnormal conditions.
• Assist with outages, maintenance planning and engineering improvement projects.
• Progress towards Authorised Person status through training and framework.
