Job Description

Our client, an interesting London-based Commodities firm, is seeking to hire a Power & Gas Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst. The business is undergoing a transformational change and requires an adaptable candidate willing to take on a busy workload.

The role can be offered as either a contract or permanent position.

Role Scope:

1. Perform business analysis for Regulatory Reporting, focusing on software solutions, implementation, and changes.
2. Experience with regulatory reporting requirements for commodities trading, including Physical Power and Gas.
3. Manage project lifecycle activities, including business requirements analysis, functional specifications, testing, and support of UAT.
4. Conduct data analysis, such as lineage mapping from database schemas to reporting outputs.
5. Handle transaction reporting regulations like REMIT, MiFID2, and EMIR.
6. Familiarize with existing applications and processes, conducting further analysis aligned with project needs.
7. Assist the Regulatory Reporting Manager with project documentation and subject matter expertise.
