Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions LTD is seeking an Electronics Technician in Arundel, West Sussex. The role involves assembling equipment and prototypes for test and performing continuous hands-on testing of power electronics products.

You will use a soldering iron and hand tools to build, repair, and modify hardware, and you’ll work closely with hardware, firmware, and software colleagues across the R&D team. A practical, hands-on approach and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, practical electronics work at bench.
• Background in power electronics with willingness to learn AC motor drives.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as role develops.
• Ability to communicate across hardware, firmware and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment and prototypes for test.
• Conduct continuous hands-on testing of power electronics products.
• Build, repair and modify hardware using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Suggest design improvements based on test results.
• Use a wide range of test instruments with confidence.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware and software colleagues in R&D.
