University of Sheffield is collaborating with Zikodrive/Round Bank on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership to recruit a Power Electronics Engineer. The role focuses on designing, developing, and qualifying advanced power electronic converters, working at the interface of academia and industry.

You will engage with academic researchers and engineers at Zikodrive to move innovations from concept to commercialisation.

• Model, design, develop, and qualify novel power electronic converters.
• Lead the design and development of new power electronics solutions with industry and academic mentors.
• Collaborate with University of Sheffield researchers and Zikodrive/Round Bank Engineers to translate innovation into commercialisation.
• Work on high-performance power converters for low-inductance, high-speed motor drives, optimizing efficiency and torque control.
