The role emphasizes analogue power electronics, DC-DC converters and motor control, with strong emphasis on simulation, validation and regulatory compliance. Nottingham-based with hybrid work options may be considered.

Competenze

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of analogue electronics and power conversion techniques.
• Experience with schematic capture and laboratory testing.
• Knowledge of DC-DC converters, power management or motor control systems.
• Experience with simulation tools LTspice, PLECS or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of embedded control systems and EMC/regulatory compliance.

This Power Electronics Engineer role focuses on the development of power circuits for next‑generation products. The Power Electronics Engineer will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and manufacturing support. The Power Electronics Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions.
