Job summary

You will own low-voltage consumer analysis and establish power budgets across components, leveraging benchmarking and current programme status. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in vehicle power consumption analysis, simulation, modelling and verification.
• Degree-qualified in engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Lead simulation, modelling and verification processes to assess and validate vehicle power consumption performance.
• Drive power consumption reduction and optimisation across the vehicle.
• Own technical understanding of all low-voltage consumers and their impact on energy demand.
• Define and manage power budgets for component specifications using benchmark data and programme status.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, electrical, software, hardware and attribute teams to ensure power requirements are understood and managed.
• Provide governance and reporting on consumption status, risks and opportunities to enable informed technical decisions.
