Job summary

GCS Recruitment are seeking a Business Analyst with Power BI and reporting expertise for a 3-month contract in the energy/utilities sector. The role is hybrid with two days on-site in the Surrey area, working with stakeholders to translate business needs into dashboards and reports.

You will gather requirements, translate requests for developers, support Power BI dashboard delivery, and ensure alignment with data structures and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering reports.
• Strong understanding of Power BI and reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of dimensional data models and how reporting data is structured.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Business Analyst (Power BI & Reporting) - Outside IR35 (Energy/Utilities Industry experience needed)

Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site in the Surrey Area

The Opportunity

My client who are well known in the Energy Industry are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join on an initial 3 month contract.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into well-defined requirements for dashboards and reports.

• Good understanding of databases.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for technical development teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Hybrid working with 2 days per week on-site.
