Role: Power BI Developer

Reports to: Head of IT

Salary: Dependent on experience

Office base: Wigan, WN3 5BA

Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office per week

Hours: 35 hours per week

The role:

We’re looking for a Power BI Developer with hands-on experience in Power Apps and Power Automate to design, develop, and maintain powerful solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality analytics and automated workflows that drive efficiency, enable better decision-making, and add real value across our business.

What you'll be doing?

• Design and maintain engaging, high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights
• Build scalable, optimised data models and integrate multiple data sources
• Develop custom business apps using Power Apps, with a focus on usability and performance
• Create automated workflows with Power Automate and integrate them with Power BI and Power Apps
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing flows and applications
• Provide training and support to users on Power Platform tools
• Ensure documentation, security compliance, and data governance best practices
• Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Power Platform innovations

About You:

We want someone who’s not just technical, but also driven, collaborative, and solutions-focused.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Proven experience building solutions with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Strong data modelling, SQL, and data warehousing knowledge
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (or working towards them)
• Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS (for advanced app customisation)
• Experience with AI Builder or integrating AI into the Power Platform (desirable)
• Legal industry experience (bonus, not essential)
