Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer for a 6-month hybrid role in Reading, UK. The candidate will design, develop and optimize Power BI reports and data models, ensuring data quality and reliable validation across SIT, UAT and production environments.

The role requires 5+ years of Power BI experience, strong SQL/Azure skills, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum. Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable dashboards is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Power BI Developer or equivalent
• Develop reporting solutions and support SIT/UAT and validation
• Experience with Azure, APIs, SQL Server and flat-file data sources
• Strong data reconciliation, defect analysis and root-cause investigation
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Jira for defect tracking
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and data warehousing concepts

Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 5+ years experience to develop reporting solutions and support SIT, UAT, regression testing and production validation.

Key Skills:

• Strong Power BI Desktop & Service, DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Advanced SQL, data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Azure, APIs, SQL Server and flat-file data sources.
• Strong data reconciliation, defect analysis and root-cause investigation.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT, production releases and post-deployment validation.
• Azure DevOps, Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Star/Snowflake schemas and data warehousing.

Strong communication, analytical skills and attention to data quality are essential.
