Job summary

Dig X is seeking a Power BI Developer to transform employee data into meaningful business insights. You will design semantic models, KPI layers and dashboards, working with Data Architects, Data Engineers and Business Analysts to enable stakeholders to understand and leverage data.

The role favors greenfield reporting foundations and data products, beyond maintaining existing reports, and includes collaboration across data teams and business stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

• Advanced DAX and data modelling skills.
• Experience designing semantic models and KPI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modelling and reporting best practices.
• Experience translating requirements into reporting solutions with stakeholders.
• Ability to validate and reconcile data against business definitions.
• Experience delivering HR, workforce analytics in consulting environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI semantic models and datasets.
• Create business-facing dashboards and reports aligned to stakeholder requirements.
• Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to define KPIs, measures and reporting requirements.
• Develop reusable reporting patterns and best practices.
• Validate calculations, measures and business rules against agreed definitions.
• Support user acceptance testing and business validation activities.
• Ensure reports are secure, scalable and easy to maintain.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake data assets.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on curated datasets and data quality improvements.
• Support documentation, handover and knowledge transfer activities.
