Job summary

Proactive.IT Appointments Limited is seeking a Data Analyst for a 2-year fixed-term contract, offering a hybrid/remote role based in Exeter, Devon. You will transform data into actionable insights, develop dashboards with Power BI, and collaborate with teams to define KPIs and data needs.

You will work with diverse data sources including SQL Server and Excel, ensuring governance and data protection best practices while contributing to evidence-based decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Power BI Dashboards: Design, build, and continuously improve dashboards and reports to present critical performance and operational data.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with service areas and stakeholders to define measurable KPIs and align reporting outputs with objectives.
• Translate Requirements into Reports: Gather and analyze reporting needs from stakeholders and translate them into Power BI reports.
• Leverage Multiple Data Sources: Use data from sources including Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Excel and cloud platforms with proper connectors.
• Adhere to Data Governance and Protection: Operate within data governance and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
